Back on the Blog. Pray for the Pletchers in Ukraine. They may have to stay until the end of the month. Trouble with the courts and paper work. They are discouraged, and need prayer. Thanks.

I am back

I am back. I will try and keep up. Many wonderful things going on here, need to report. I have been working on our trip to the Ukraine. I finally purchased our tickets yesterday. I guess we are really going. We leave July8th, and come back the 19th.
Pray for those going. Myself, Abby McLaughlin, Kris Hall, Greg and Lisa Strausz, and Korinne Burgess, a friend of Abby's.
Some of these still need some financial help. It is a costly trip.
See you Sunday

Wow, have we been busy at the church. God is really blessing the ministries of our church. Y.A.C. registrations are good. Many new families signing up. Some indicating that they are searching for a church home. Still need some helpers.
On a different note, 2 people close to my heart, are facing their last days here on earth. Sad situations. One is going to be with her Lord, the other needs to make that decision. I pray for strength during this time.
Missions conference Sunday. Going to be a great day. Come and enjoy the day. God bless.

Easter Sunday

Many of my fondest memories revolve around Easter. AS a young man growing up, Easter Sunday was always very special. This year is no different. I am looking forward to this Sunday, not only for myself and my family, but for all those who may be attending church for the first time.
What a joy it would be if someone we invite to come Sunday, comes to know the Lord in one of the services.
WE are looking forward to seeing everyone Sunday. Come and be blessed.

Spring is coming.

This Sunday we are expecting to baptize at least 6 people. There will be 2 couples being baptized together. What a blessing.
Spring is coming to. We are starting a golf league on Monday nights, beginning in May. We will be golfing with some from the Baptist Temple. Good people. If you are interested, see me or checkout the signup sheet. I will take it easy on you on the course, so don't be afraid.{Sean Hall]
Lots to do around the church this spring. Hoping to have a cleanup day soon. Stay tuned.
See you Sunday

Seething Again

Once again the current events of our nation, has gotten to me. I know that God is good, and He is still in control, but that doesn't mean I cant express my outrage.
Our Government has now decided that children may be detrimental to our economy. Read the speaker of the house, Mrs. Pelosi's statements. Look at the money that is going to be spent on abortions and sexuay transmitted diseases. I am appalled that our nation, a Godly nation, isn't up in arms over these things. That wouldn't be correct though, because we are to respect our leaders.Right.
I have been watching a DVD called "The silencing of God". Watch it and it will make your blood boil. I for one will write my leaders in congress and tell them what I think, for all the good it will do. Not only are we to pray, but we are do everything in our power not to let our Government dismantle everything our country used to stand for.
Shame on us for letting this happen. Our new President and his followers will do all they can to promote everything that is wrong, while we sit back and let it happen.
I am ashamed of it all.

Global Warming

I agree with the Pastor, this global warming thing is tough. I tried to go to Mt.Carmel east today, and that global warming stuff was all over the road. Cars in the ditch, accidents, tough driving. I finally had to turn around and come back. It would have taken me 2 hours to get there.
I appreciate the concern for our planet, but come on, if Al Gore believes this stuff, let him drive today, or shovel my driveway. Stay safe and keep warm.

What a great day

After reading the Pastor's blog this morning, I feel I had a great start to my day. When you think you had a bad morning, look around you will find someone who had a worse one.
Working on Bible school already. 5 months away. We are going to do a daytime VBS this year. We will see how it goes. We will need plenty of workers.
I am studying in the book of Ezekiel currently. It seems as though God is talking about our nation today, when He describes what was going on in Israel at the time. Frightening.
Looking forward to Sunday. Have a great week.

Merry Christmas

Just wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas. It has been a great year at FBC. People continue to be so wonderful. Thanks to all for the gifts and the cards.
Many gave Sunday to help others. Many gave or tried to give that couldn't afford it. What a blessing to be at a church that really cares.
Set your God size goals for next year, and keep them. See you tonight.

Thursday, December 11, 2008

We did it.

What a blessing, all of the children's names we had are gone. 100 names were taken by our church family. And they say there is an economic crisis in our country. People in this country need to come to FBC Heath to see how to care for others. We don't need wealth redistribution in our country, we need more people to follow Jesus's example on caring for others. Thank you to all who got involved.
Our Christmas with the kids is Saturday December 20th at 11:00 in the morning. Come and be a part of it. Eric Ricketts will be fixing a great meal for all to enjoy. Come and be a witness to these many families.
Don't forget the the drama on the 14th, should be a great night. See you Sunday.

Face Book

I now have a face book site. I have no clue what that means, but everybody else has one, so I guess I needed one, right? I don't know how to use it, but does it really matter. I have made some enemies in my life, the police department, and working for the State. I hope none of them see my site. Is site the right word?
Today was the first day of deer season. Haven't missed one in years, but today I didn't want to get cold and wet again, so I stayed home and went to work. Nothing more enjoyable than seeing Pastor Shawn's smiling face on Monday mornings.
Still have alot of kids names for the Christmas with the kids party, come and see me. I love Christmas, always have and always will. I enjoy helping others, but I need to do more. Christmas with kids is awesome, come and see.
God Bless

It's over

Thank goodness Michigan week is over. Thank you to all who reminded me Sunday that Michigan lost. I will have to admit it was a dreadful performance, but wait till next year.
We are going away for thanksgiving, to eat and to eat. When you go to a farm in Kentucky you must eat and eat. Many of you know what I mean. Looking forward to a relaxing time, just sitting around and watching the wind blow, and eating and eating, you get the idea.
Hope you all have a happy thanksgiving, and remember to give thanks for what we have. Many have come this week to our food pantry, who don't have what most of us have. Pray for those, it could be a rough holiday season.
Don't forget our Christmas with the kids. If you want to make a difference, come and be a part of it.
If you want, pastor Dear and I love fudge and cookies during the holidays. Feel free to bring it in anytime. God is Good.

Michigan Week

I love Michigan week. I love wearing my Michigan sweatshirt, just to aggravate people. It is amazing how many people get upset with me, but can't name a player on either team. We are so easily led, it is disturbing. Many have the same beliefs that their parents have, but couldn't tell you why. They belong to the same political party, live the same lifestyle, work the same jobs. Why am I telling you this, I really don't know. But I did watch part of a documentary on the election. If you want to humor yourself go to a website how obama got elected.com.
Well what about Saturday's game. I predict, as bad as Michigan is, an upset. But who really cares, I don't. After Saturday it will still be Sunday. Two more Baptisms, people getting saved. That is what's important. GO BLUE

Monday Mornings

Do you ever have trouble on Monday morning, just getting started? Today is one of those days. After reading the news on the internet, it is even tougher. Today there are stories about homosexual groups storming a church in Michigan, the mayor of L.A. telling people that his Jesus would embrace same sex marriages, and a story of an elementary student being berated by his teacher for being a John McCain supporter. Isn't it great that God is good all the time? I am so glad that I know the truth, how about you.
One of those that made a decision for Christ yesterday, was a young lady I have known for quite awhile. I coached her 3 brothers in little league baseball. God is good.
Speaking about yesterday's service, how about people being saved, 3 of them, on a giving message. What is going to happen when the Pastor is done with these messages. God is good all the time. The Holy Spirit is really working in our church. God bless

Anger Management

Many people are still very angry over the election. I just heard of one man who stated everytime he sees an Obama sticker he wants to ram his car into theirs. Well I was and still a little angry, but this is what came out of my quiet time today.
We sing a song in church once in awhile, that has the words, "God is good all the time". My answer to those who want to talk politics, or about our President elect, will be God is good all the time. If I have nothing good to say , what a great statement. He is good all the time.
Be praying for our church and church family. Many are still fighting health issues. Stop in and get a prayer list if you need one.
Had a free lunch at Leghorns today. They called it family and friend day. I just stopped in. Food was good and a good selection. Only downfall, they have a bar.
See you Sunday. Another baptism.

Monday, November 10, 2008

Wow,what great message Sunday night. We all need a kick in the pants sometimes. Our church will be all the better because of it.
I am still dealing with the election results, pray for me that my heart doesn't harden. I know what God's word says, and I am trying.
Next big event is Christmas with the Kids, December 20th. We will have 100 children to care for, no small task. Need a lot of people to help. Get ready.
Baptisms this Sunday,praise the Lord.

I Agree

I haven't kept up with my blog for months. Honestly I really don't know if anyone really cares.

After reading Pastor Dear's blog this morning, I could not agree with him more. I want to leave my children and grandchildren a country worth living in and one worth dying for. If B. Obama is elected as our next President, I am not sure that will be the case.
I will spend most of my day on my knees, how about you? God can do mighty things. Pray for this day.

YAC

YAC is growing. THe sports camp has been a hit. Rochele Andrews and daughter Rebecca have done a great job in our Bible study. New families have came and then came back for church on Sunday.
Kids are great. One young man, when I told him to set on the bleachers with the other kids, told me he was allergic to older kids. He never cracked a smile. I think he was serious.
Thanks to all who have made this program possible, especially thank you God.
A little side note, the team of Pastors Wally, Noel, Shawn, and Mike Knox, won the Heartbeats tourney this year. We are the Champs. Big Trophy coming. God Bless

Thursday, May 8, 2008

Anxiety

The closer May 21st gets, the more I start worrying about YAC. Listening to John MacArthur today preaching on Anxiety Free Living, put me under conviction.
Read Luke 12:22-34. Verse 25 says "And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?" Great lesson. If YAC is going to reach children, it is not up to me, it is up to God. I feel better already.
Pray this week for the children's musical, and for our Sunday service. Remember Sunday is Mothers day. Treat Mom right, you only have one mom.
Have a great week.

Y.A.C.

Please be in prayer for Y.A.C., young athletes for Christ. Many church members have volunteered to help, now we need the kids. We have flyers available for you to pass out in your neighborhood, if you wish. We have distributed approx 4000 flyers thru the bag program the last few weeks, but we still need more.
Wish Winfrey Prater Happy Birthday, he is turning 80. I pray I am in that kind of shape when I am 80.
Have a good week, see you at the mission conference.

Tuesday, April 22, 2008

Promises, Promises

I promise to keep my blog updated, I promise to keep my blog updated. OK that is enough.
The church is moving at light speed this week. Mission conference is coming up. I am trying to put the final touches on it. Y.A.C. is taking shape. Still need many kids. If you know kids in your neighberhood, please invite them. The Bible study will be how to deal with it. How to deal with fear, the tongue, attitudes, anger, and many others. It should be a great study.
Sunday night was awesome. If you missed it, you really missed a wonderful night. Prayer is so vital to our church at this time. We are growing and God is just waiting to hear from you. Pray, Pray, Pray.
Thank you to all who attended the Prayer breakfast, it was a great time.
On a personal note, the golf challenge between the Pastors is underway. I won't tell you how it has gone so far, but will start reporting the scores from now on. Sorry Pastor Shawn, and Pastor Dear. See Ya

Snow day

Having a snow day from church is weird isn't it. The church parking lot is still not plowed. Gene has been working many hours to get it cleaned. What a blessing he has been.
I enjoy the snow, but now I am ready for spring. Golf, baseball, all those fun things are right ahead of us. But with all this global warming, we probably wont see spring for 2 more months.
I hope Al Gore is proud of himself. First the internet, now he has created the endless winter.
Continue to pray for Linda Bauer's daughter, Kristy. The servives will be tomorrow. Tough times, but what faith Kristy and her husband Chris have shown.

See you all Sunday

Wednesday, February 6, 2008

Mission Team

Well they got off. The team left the church around 4:00. Many showed up to see them off and pray. Keep them in your prayers, and their families also.
Looking forward to Pastor Floro preaching the next 2 Sunday mornings. Myself and Troy will do the P.M. services.
I pray people will not grow lazy while the Pastor is gone. See you Sunday

Girls, Upwards, and things,

Well my basketball adventures have begun. After 4 practices, I almost have them out of giggling so much, and paying attention. 12 teenage girls, are a real challenge. The good thing is they come from a Christian school, which has some pretty strict rules. They really are good kids. Still continue to pray for me.
Upward basketball starts in about 1 month. We still need coaches and officials. Let me know if you can help.
The church is growing, many positive things have been happening. Get involved.
On a negative note, our country seems to be sinking to new lows. When you think you have heard it all, something happens that just floors you. One state has now banned the words Mom, and Dad, from any public school books. It seems it offends the gay community. Unbelievable. Pray.

Long time no blogging

OK Sam, I'm going to update my blog. In case you didn't know we obtained a floor scrubber for the FLC. It is cleaning, but not taking uo the black marks. After upwards is over, we plan on completely redoing the floor. A big expense, but well worth it.
I will be needing some officials for upwards, hope we can find enough.
What a blessing it has been, to baptize so many young people. A big blessing to baptize Abby. I am so excited about the future of our church, I can hardly control myself. We all need to look for ways to get involved, to be part of the excitement.
No golf for awhile, I guess everyone is afraid to play me. Sean Hall doesn't even call. Oh well we your good your good. Well that is it, I am waiting for Abby to get out of drama practice. By the way, pray for me, I am going to coach Abby's basketball team at her school this year. 6th,7th, & 8th grade girls. Oh Me.

I don't Know

I don't know much to talk about. 5th Quarter has started. I have been to all 3. Not to bad, Troy and his leaders do a great job. This is what it is all about, bringing the lost to the church. Pray for our youth.
Pastor Shawn is getting settled in, he is not to bad a guy for a music Pastor. Only kidding of course. I have him eating from my hand.
Pastor Dear is leaving for Alabama tomorrow. Pray for safe travel for him and the girls.
Looking forward to Sunday's message. Be there.

Where do they go?

Where do people go in the summer? Some seem to take summer off from church. Is this an epidemic? Pastor Moore and I discussed this just this week. We blame poor attendance on the summer, when fall comes it is because the leaves are to pretty. Of course in winter it is to cold, in spring it is to wet. Maybe it is just man's laziness. We did have a decent attendance Sunday, but still not where it should be.
If you know someone who hasn't been attending for awhile, call them. If you don't want to call them, call me, and I will call them, or Pastor Noel will.
One of our members just called to tell me he wants to buy an airconditioner for one of our members who are without one. Now that is showing God's love in the right way. May we all have that kind of heart.
God Bless and stay cool.

More Golf & other stuff

Another Golf outing over with. Pastor Dear, Sean Hall, Eric Dickover, and I played friday at Granville golf course. A fund raiser for Granville Christian. I was 6foot3 when I started, and 6 foot when we got done. Those 3 are heavy to carry for 18 holes. Just kidding Sean was awesome, as was the pastor. Eric was ok. A good time was had.
Fantasy baseball is almost over, praise the Lord. My team is in a deep dive. Won't be long to Wolverine football. Hail to the Mighty Victors.
VBS is over, a long week, but well worth it. Pastor is gone for a couple of days, so I had the chance to preach Sunday night. A good message, but I understand the sound was not good. I think I had the mic to close to my face. My bad.
Pray for Bob Banks, the chemo has got to him. He needs all the prayers we can offer up. He is not doing well at all. Pray for the attendance to pick up, and souls saved in the coming weeks. God Bless

Wednesday, July 18, 2007

Fellowship time

Pastor Shawn, Pastor Dear, and I had our first golf outing. It wasn't pretty, but we had a good time. No need to talk about scores, but I will tell you it was another victory for one of us. I wonder who????
Church is well, but we are suffering thru the summer blues. Pray that people will start coming back to church soon.
Our vacation was incredible. Carol, Abby, and I had a great time. Abby is such a Buckeye fan, but I think I converted her." Go Blue". Carol could care less about Michigan, or the Buckeyes, so it didn't change her. But what a beautiful state. The great lakes are awesome, the little villages, the cool weather, I sure could get used to being there.
Thank you all for praying and supporting the pastoral staff, and the church.

Thursday, July 5, 2007

Finally

Finally, vacation is here. We are leaving Saturday, for the great state of Michigan. I always pray people will be safe while I am gone. Take care of the Pastor, he will appreciate it.
Pray for the youth, as some leave on a mission trip Sunday. Pray for Troy and his team.
I guess nobody wanted any Michigan hats or shirts. Get your National Champs stuff early, is what I always say.
Good 4th of July celebration. God Bless America.

Thursday, June 21, 2007

Summer Time

Summer is upon us, and things have slowed down a bit. The one thing that hasn't changed, is people are still being saved. Been thinking about going on vacation. After much thought, I think we are going up into the great state of Michigan. I call it God's country, plenty of fresh water, trees, clean air, and the Wolverines. We will start at Frankenmuth, go north to the upper pennisula, and see what happens from there.
Pastor Dear ask me to bring him back a University of Michigan shirt and hat, smart man. If anyone else would like to have some Wolverine gear, please let me know.
Remember to continue coming to church during the summer. God never takes the summer off.

Sad news

Most of you know that Margaret Williamson went to be with Jesus Monday morning. The funeral will be at the church Friday at 12:30 P.M. Pray for Wade and his family, they deeply loved Margaret.
Sunday was a great day. The baptisms were very special, as was the prayer garden service for the Fergusons. This week I will have the opportunity to talk with the husband of the lady Bill Marriott and I help lead to the Lord last week.He visited the church Sunday, and indicated he wanted to know more about being a Christian. God continues to open the door for so many, He is an awesome God.
Now I know the Pastor is in first place this week in fantasy baseball, but soon it will be crunch time, and most of his players will choke. I am truly happy for him though. {Not}
Please try and honor Wade and his family, by being at the funeral Friday. God bless.

Thursday, May 24, 2007

Wow

Wow, what a last couple of days. Last night, Bill Marriott, and myself, helped lead a young lady to the Lord. Her name is Lynn McGuire. Please pray for her and her family, as there are some problems in the home. This morning I had my first session with a couple I am marrying in August. Their names are Robert and Taren. Robert professed to being a Christian, but Taren couldn't. She prayed this morning to accept Christ as her Savior. I am going to baptize them together on June 3rd.
God is so good. We all need to be ready when He puts someone in front of us.
Have a great Memorial weekend. Carol and I plus 3 grandchildren will be traveling to Kentucky for the weekend. Be back Monday. God Bless

Tuesday, May 15, 2007

Excited

A young man who played ball for me, years ago, is coming to see me any minute. He is bringing his 9 year old son to see me. His son made a decision at the upward award night, to accept Jesus as his savior. I believe dad and mom will be saved also.
Next week, I am going to see a young lady, who wants to know how to be saved. Tough job, but somebody has to do it.
Church is growing, my golf game is awesome, people are being saved, God is good. Now I need to get my fantasy baseball team going.
Just found out Jerry Falwell passed away. A good Godly man, a man who served God with everything he had. Pray for the family. See you soon.

Friday, May 4, 2007

End of the week

Friday is finally here. A good week at FBC. Pastor Dear is almost finished moving, and I know he must be happy about that. His baseball team is suffering because of the move, but it sure didn't make me mad.
One more sports note, my partner and I are in first place in our golf league. Sorry Steve.
I just read an e mail about a statement that Andy Rooney made on CBS. Now I believe that Andy Rooney is a senile liberal old man. If he indeed made this statement, somebody must have spiked his prune juice. Let me know if want me to e mail it to you, it is awesome.
Hope to see everyone here Sunday. I believe it is going to be a great day. God Bless

I don't know

Did you ever have one of those days, that your mind just doesn't want to cooperate? Well today is one of those days. Maybe it's the weather, or maybe I just don't have anything to say. Regardless, the church is hopping today, missionaries are coming in, Carla and Linda are working hard, things are a little busy.
Pray for the week, and pray for Sunday, 2 more baptisms, and many more to come.
In closing, the pastor is ahead of me in fantasy baseball, but I am only letting him feel good for a while. Wally's warriors will prevail.
See ya Sunday

Devotion

I had an opportunity to visit Beulah and Phyllis Carty at arlington nursing home this week. For those of you who do not know these ladies, Beulah is in her mid to late 80's, and Phyllis is her daughter and is retarded. Phyllis is 58 or 59. Phyllis had to be placed in the nursing home and because Beulah is so devoted to her she put herself in the nursing home also. They have adjoining rooms, and Beulah cares for her like a new born baby. I don't believe I have ever witnessed such devotion. Beulah has devoted her whole life to her daughter.
After my visit I thought that is exactly how God treats us. God continues to care for us through all the good and bad times of our lives. He will never leave us or forsake us. I thank Him for people like Beulah. Let me encourage you to visit the Cartys, or send them a card. They would so appreciate it.

Also let's all pray for the senseless tragedy at Virginia Tech, and for the families and friends of those who lost their lives. The familes certainly will need it.

God bless

Additional

If you think things are as bad as they can get, look at page 7a of tonights Advocate. A census is being taken to determine how many people in central ohio are Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transgender. As if that isn't bad enough, look at the sponsers, Abercrombie & Fitch, The United Way, etc. Those of you who give money to the United Way, or shop at Abercrombie & Fitch, may want to ask God what He would have you to do.

The results of this survey will be used to strenghen the gay community. Shame on our generation.

I wonder

What in the world is going on? Gay clubs in Newark high school, whatever used to be right is now wrong. You can't voice your opinion, for fear of offending someone. I for one have had enough. When Christians are afraid to stand up and voice their opinions, we have lost the battle. Where was the oposition from Christians against the gay club, I don't believe there was any.
What are we leaving to our children in this world. Where will we be 50 years from now? I can remember where we were 50 years ago.We still could worship God in school, kids were not killing their parents, our country still had values, but look now. I pray God will forgive us for what we have become.
Well enough ranting and raving. Bob Bank's surgery went as well as can be expected. Pray for Bob's recovery, he is at Grant hospital. Pray for the church, as we have a very busy 2 weeks ahead of us. Global Focus and the worship pastor candidate will take up the majority of our time. We have more baptisms scheduled, God is still blessing us. Thank you God.
As I close, please do your part in helping our city, our state, and our country, in getting back to what God would have us to be.
Oh, by the way, look at the new dollar coin, and see if you can find "In God we Trust".

Wonderful Easter Day

Ditto on the Pastor's comments about our services yesterday. Great messages, great music, baptisms, and people being saved. You couldn't ask for more than that. I agree, why can't every Sunday be Easter.

Remember Bob Banks in prayer this week. His surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. Remember also Beulah and Phyllis Carty, both are at Arlington nursing home.

The first week of baseball season is over, and what a week it was. Can you believe playing baseball in the snow, outrageous. One of our members, who will remain anonyomous, was at the Indians opener, and actually spent another night waiting for the games to begin, of couse it's hard to play in the snow. Get a life Mr. Moyer.

See you all next week, more baptisms. God is good.

Easter

Easter is almost here. Regardless of the weather, we should be in a worship mode so others will see Jesus in us. Don't forget to invite someone to church this Sunday, they will receive quite a blessing.
Wednesday night I had the opportunity to pray with a young lady after Awana. She told me that she wanted to ask Jesus into her heart. I am so blessed to be able to do what I do, and be able to share in the happiness when people make that decision. Although she is only 10, I keep thinking that is the way we all should come to Christ, with the faith of a little child. I am hopeful she will be able to be baptised this Easter Sunday.
God Bless and have a wonderful day.

New Week

A beautiful day to start the week. Plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. Easter week is always special to me. It brings back many memories of Easters past. I remember sunrise services and breakfasts at the church. I miss those, but I am very sentimental, as you all know.
A wonderful service last night, very different than what we are used to, but very moving. Thanks to the Deacons who arranged it.
On a sad note, some of you know that the 16 year old girl that was murdered last week, was my sister's grandaughter. Pray for the family as they grieve this week. A difficult week for them, even though a joy filled week for most of us. We need to remember that in the midst of the storm, God proves His love for us. Pastor Tim Carr will be doing the funeral service on Wednesday, pray the family will be open to the message.
Have a great week, see you Wednesday.

Prayer

What is a sufficient time for people to pray? This morning,I was talking with Hui Cha who is going to Korea next week. She was telling me that the church some of her family goes to in Korea, gathers for prayer each morning at 5:00 A.M. To often we pray when we have time, and usually not in church. The question is, is corporate prayer that important? I believe it is.Maybe something we can work on.

Thanks to those who worked on the wildgame dinner. Many were there who were not saved, even a couple of ex-cops,go figure that.

Thanks to Pastor Noel for the golf game. The first 9 of the year went to me. Ho Hum. Next is Mr. Moyer.

Have a great week, and invite somebody to church this week.

Lunch

Today I have a lunch date with my grandaughter Abby. We are going to Dairy Queen.I hope they have crow there, for I will be eating it for awhile after last nights game. Oh well I can't be right all the time.
Another day of rain, but already this morning I have received 2 praise reports. Both reports have the Doctors wondering what happen with their patients, they seem to have gotten better.People have been praying for them,I wonder what it might have been.
Never ever get discouraged in your prayers for healing,God is awesome, and will hear your prayers. Check out the comment on my blog for one of the praise reports from a new family in our church, the Sillins.By the way his grandfather,Larry, used to be my shift Sgt. on the police department.Small world.
Have a great weekend.

Rain Rain go away

My first disappointment of the year.Rain washed away an attempt to play golf.It will get better soon.
The NCAA tourney resumes tonight.Sorry Buckeye fans, they will play their last game tonight. They had a good season, but it is over now.
Baseball is right around the corner,Go Tribe.
The church continues to be healthy, nothing serious I am aware of. Look for a dramatic change in our intercessory prayer ministry coming soon. Prayer breakfast is set for Sunday may 20th,at 8:00 A.M. A good breakfast will be served, including Pancakes and sausage, and some special speakers.
Pray for the Pastor on his attempt to buy his new home,it will make him feel better, when it is over.God Bless and Go Tennessee!

More and more people are continuing to ask about baptism, after the Pastor's message several weeks ago about the proper order of baptism. What a blessing to see people's lives change.

See you soon,Go Kansas!
